Successfully complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding Gaiden chapter:

Chapter 6x: Have less than fifteen characters at the end of Chapter 6 

Chapter 12x: Have less than fifteen characters at the end of Chapter 12. 

Chapter 17x: Have less than fifteen characters at the end of Chapter 17. 

Chapter 20x: Have less than fifteen characters at the end of Chapter 20 

Chapter 24x: Have Chiki dead and no falchion.

Successfully complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding unit:

Alan (Paladin): In Chapter 16, visit the village to the left with Marth. Note: You
cannot recruit Samson after recruiting Alan. 

Astria (Hero): In Chapter 13, talk with Midia. Note: Appears as an enemy. 

Athena (Myrmidon): In Chapter 6x, visit the village with Marth. 

Banutu (Mamkute): In Chapter 7, visit the village with Marth. 

Beck (Shooter): In Chapter 13, visit the village with Marth. 

Chainy (Commando): In Chapter 16, talk with Marth. Note: Appears as an enemy. 

Chiki (Mamkute): In Chapter 19, talk with Banutu. Note: Appears as an enemy. 

Daros (Pirate): In Chapter 2, talk with Marth. Note: Appears as an enemy. 

Ellis (Cleric): Unlocked automatically in Chapter 24. 

Est (Pegasus Knight): In Chapter 18, talk with Marth. Note: Appears as an enemy. 

Etzel (Sorcerer): Successfully complete Chapter 17x without killing him. 

Gato (Sage): Unlocked automatically in the Final Chapter, if you did not go to Chapter
24x. 

George (Sniper): In Chapter 9, Visit the village with Marth. 

Gordon (Archer): In the last part of the tutorial, talk with Marth. Note: Appears
as an enemy. Also automatically unlocked at start in Hard mode. 

Horus (General): Successfully complete Chapter 12x without killing him. 

Hymir (Warrior): In Chapter 20x, talk with Marth and complete the chapter. 

Jake (Shooter): In Chapter 11, talk with Sheeda. You must also visit the village where
Anna is in the same chapter. Note: Appears as an enemy. 

Kashim (Hunter): In Chapter 2, talk with Sheeda. Note: Appears as an enemy. 

Katua (Pegasus Knight): In Chapter 14, talk with Marth. Note: Appears as an enemy. 

Lawrence (General): In Chapter 20, talk with Marth or Sheeda. Note: Appears as an
enemy. 

Linda (Mage): In Chapter 11, visit the village with Marth. 

Machis (Cavalier): In Chapter 4, talk with Rena. Note: Appears as an enemy. 

Maria (Cleric): In Chapter 10, talk with Marth. Note: Appears as an enemy. 

Marich (Mage): In Chapter 4, visit the northern village with Marth. 

Minerva (Dragon Knight): In Chapter 10, talk with Marth after already recruited Maria.
Note: Appears as an enemy. 

Nagi (Mamkute): Successfully complete Chapter 24x. 

Navarre (Myrmidon): In Chapter 3, talk with Sheed. Note: Appears as an enemy. 

Paola (Pegasus Knight): In Chapter 14, talk with Marth. Note: Appears as an enemy. 

Ricardo (Thief): In Chapter 6, talk with Marth or Julian. Note: Appears as an
enemy. 

Riff (Priest): In Chapter 1, visit the western village with Marth. 

Roger (Knight): In Chapter 8, talk with Sheeda. Note: Appears as an enemy. 

Samson (Hero): In Chapter 16, visit the village to the right with Marth. Note: You
cannot recruit Alan after recruiting Samson. 

Wendel (Sage): In Chapter 5, talk with Marth or Marich. Note: Appears as an enemy.
