Alternate training mode blocks
While starting Training mode through the deck maker, hold Up or Down to change it to a
knowledge character or Left or Right to change it to a laughter character.
The following are Komas that can be unlocked from doing something other than beating
J-Adventure mode missions. The easiest way to get the "Battle [number] times" Komas is to
repeatedly fail the "get hit once and you lose" missions in J-Adventure mode.
Ichigo Help Koma: Get 450 Koma
Ichigo Battle Koma: Get 540 Koma
Vegito Battle Koma: Get all Koma
Goten Help Koma: Battle 200 times
Bobobo Battle Koma: Battle 350 times
Naruto Battle Koma: Battle 400 times
Don Pachi Battle Koma: Battle 450 times
Sasuke Battle Koma: Battle 500 times
Kakashi Help Koma: Draw a Konoha leaf emblem in the upper right part of the touch screen
during the introduction sequence. Alternately, get 360 Koma.
Sakuragi Help Koma: Draw a basketball shoe in the lower left part of the touch screen
during the introduction sequence.
As you play through the mission mode, you'll unlock various cards that you can use for
forming your own battle deck. Some of these cards will come incomplete, and they'll have
open slots that need to be filled. Fill these slots with the single-tile character cards
in order to make use of the larger cards.
Finding the right single-tile card to fit into the larger card can sometimes be a pain,
but there's a trick to make it easier. First, find out how many tiles make up the larger
card you want to complete (usually 3-5). On the card selection screen, select the button
on the top menu (fourth column) that displays only the cards with the number of
tiles that make up your chosen card. Scroll down to select that card (the incomplete cards
are labeled with a purple badge) and place it in your deck.
Back out to the card list and then press the top menu button that restricts the card list
to a particular team (second column). Pressing this button should remove all cards from
the list temporarily. However, if you press the top menu button (fourth column) to
disable the tile-count restriction you'll be left with a list of cards that match
the team of the incomplete card in your deck. This leaves you with just a few single-tile
cards to try out, eliminating a lot of fuss when trying to complete the "empty" cards.
When you break open a crate, barrel, or any other object that makes items pop up,
immediately hold Guard. All harmful items, such as the weight or poison, will land on you
and disappear without any effect. This also works on helpful items; it works on everything
except for bombs.
During the introduction, press L or R to change the color of the ink you use to scribble
on the bottom screen (with the Jump Pirate face). The initial color is white; the other
colors are black, pink, blue, cyan, green, yellow/orangish, red, and gray.
