Go to the profile screen & hold L and R the pick your profile and a noise that says
"Luigi" and then your LUIGI!!

First, you will have to avoid a few fireballs coming from a sea of lava. After getting
past that, you will enter a door which will lead to a room with 3 blocks and a door on
the ceiling. the block all the way right has a power-up, while the middle block has a
switch. Step on the switch, and you will put the castle upside down. You can now enter
the second door, which leads to a room with fire blasters. Avoid the fires and go all the
way across untill you see a door. Enter and you will be in a room with a GIANT ememy and a
switch and a power-up. Step, avoid, and exit. Dodge the flames again and go up to a door.
Avoid, smash, step, avoid, exit. You will now be passing through two doors easily, and
this is where the puzzle begins. You will see platforms that you must go in orderly ways.
First one: Bottom. Secound one: Top. Third one: middle. Finally, you'll see a big, red,
metal door...



Go over to the scene of the crime. You'll see that Jr. will use a special potion to bring
Bowser to life and battle. Sounds easy, but the hard part is that you will be fighting
Bowser and Jr. at the same time! If you survive and defeat them, the Princess will give
you a "Thank You" kiss and the credits will roll. ^_^

To be luigi go to mario game and presss r and l at the same time and keep holding onto it
then prees r l and a at the same time

First you dash then you then jump and jump again then one more time then he does a front
flip wola you done

to unlock levle 4 u need a mini mushroom

First get a mini mushroom at a red mushroom house or go to world one and on one of the
lvls there is a mini mushroom. MAKE SHUR YOU HAVE IT IN YOUR PARTY! Then get to jr.
bowser and bowser. Use the mini mushroom befor the battle and dont get hit ether wise you
have to restar this. Once you are in the battle with the mini mairo or luigi look at jr.
bowser and once he comes close, if you get the timing right, and when he throughs the
shell jump on him, make shur you hald down a, if you are close enogh you can jump over
bowersand hit the swich! Then you are standing small by the princes!

have you noticed how world 4 and 7 have been skiped?beat world 2 castle level as mini
mario to get world 4 do the same with world 5 to get world 7

to do this enter world 1-2 then when you touch the ground jump to left and hold the pad
right and press a or b and do it agian but hold the pad right and so on. soon you may get
to the top

make sure that u are fire mario/luigi and make sure that u have a mega mushroom and just
avoid all of bowser attacks by staying as far back asposible while u though fire balls a
baby bowser but take advantage of the gree shells that he thoughs when u have baby bowser
defeted us the mega mushroom and jump on bowser and tada ez win right?and as a reward
mario/luigi gets a kiss from peach!



thisa does work its how i beat it!

all you need to get fire works is to have your time the last two didgets have to be dubble
like *11 *22 *33 and so on.

on every level there are blocks that give you more than one coin well if you get above
this block and jump then press down and hold down you will keep bashing the block untill
it gives you a prize it could be anything from a power up to an extra life if you cant
get above the block this will still work from underneath just as long as you hit the
block enough times and east enough.

To get infinite 1-UPs, you needn’t go any further than World 4-5. There, head to
the first pipe spawning Bobombs. Clear a way to the lower (indestructible) floor, but
leave the left and right edges in tact. Grab a Koopa Shell and toss it into the pitt, and
then position yourself far away enough from the pipe so the Bobombs continue to respawn.
If done correctly, the Koopa shell will bounce left and right endlessly, racking you up
99 lives in no time.

New Super Mario Bros. Cheat: World 8 (From World 5)

To get to World 8 from World 5, do the following. First, head to the house directly after
the first castle on World 5. Once there, go up six flights of stairs. Next to the seventh
flight of stairs, there will be three bricks. Jump on top of them and jump straight up to
hit an invisible block. Then, get on top of that block, jump straight up again, and hit
another block. This one will unleash a vine that you can climb up. Once atop the vine,
there will be a door. Go through the door and get on the nearby colorful platform. The
platform will bring you to another door. Go through that door and find the red flag with
a skull on it (as opposed to a black flag). Jump on the flag so it comes down, thereby
completing the stage. Then, go to the cannon it shows and you will be brought to World 8.

New Super Mario Bros. Unlockable: Play as Luigi

Beat the game and save it. Then, select the saved game and hold down both the L and R
BUTTONS, then enter A. The green sporting super mario bro is unlocked.

I can confirm that you do not need to clear the game to play as Luigi. Just hold L + R
and press A on the file you want to play, and you will be Luigi, regardless if you finish
the game or not.

New Super Mario Bros. Unlockable: Special Backgrounds

First you beat the game. Then load the saved file for that game. Go into the blue Toad
house now located in World 1. In here you can purchase five different backgrounds for
your lower screen. They all cost Star Coins. To get the fift background, you have to get
all of the star coins in the through-out all the levels.

Toady claims to get the fifth background you must collect all star coins. This is wrong.
You only need to clear a path to every mushroom hut. Finish the game and a path to a blue
mushroom hut will appear in World 1. It contains the starting touchscreen theme and three
additional background patterns that can be purchased for 20 star coins each. A fifth
theme can be bought once you've cleared paths to the mushroom huts in every world.

Cleat all the levels and lettered bonus levels in the game and save it.

There's a warp pipe that'll instantly bring you to World 5 from the World 1-Tower. When
in the hidden room with the second Star Coin, notice a small gap in the upper-right
corner of the room that's never closed by the shifting blocks. You can jump into the gap
to reach a hidden area with a 1-Up (smash the invisible blocks as soon as you enter the
room). Shell Mario can go one further, breaking the blocks along the floor to reach the
warp cannon.

At the pipe right at the end of World 1-4, kick a koopa shell and it'll keep sliding back
and forth between the pipe to the right and the wall to the left. If you jump every time
the shell comes your way, the shell will kill the enemies that constantly appear,
eventually giving you you 1UPs.

New Super Mario Bros. Hint: House-ploitation

First, each time you get to a boss stage, return to world 1. Play the first stage once
through, getting all the power ups but the giant mushroom (you are forced to only be
super mario at the end of the level if you gat it, without the fireballs). Instead, beat
it and jump on the flag pole when the last two digits of the clock are either 66, 55, or
44. This way, a toad house with extra lives will appear. Repeat this until you have many,
many lives to spare.

To cheese the bosses, play through one more time (without getting the big mushroom) and
end when the last two digits of the clock say 99, 88, or 77. This will make a toad house
with the giant mushroom powerup appear. It will replace whatever else you already have.
Finally, go to the stage with your newly equipped giant mushroom, fireballs, and lives.
Play through it, but don't use your giant mushroom yet.

When you get to whatever boss you are playing, immediately activate the giant mushroom.
Now you can defeat the boss just by touching him! I don't know if the big mushroom will
kill all bosses, but for most bosses, this works.

New Super Mario Bros. Hint: Free Mushroom Houses

Instead of immediately jumping onto the flag pole at the end of a stage, take your time
and watch the clock. If you hit the flag when the last two digits of your timer are the
same (example: 133, 211, or 099) you'll unlock a mushroom house on your World Map. If the
last two digits are 1, 2, or 3, you'll unlock a red mushroom house. If the last two
digitsl are 4, 5, or 6, you'll unlock a green mushroom house. If the last two digits are
7, 8, or 9, you'll unlock an orange mushroom house.

New Super Mario Bros. Hint: Warp Zone Cannons

In some worlds, there are cannons you can access (usually through taking secret exits).
When you enter the cannon area, there will be a large cannon in the area, and a world
number written below it. If you want to warp, simply drop into the cannon and off you go!
Here is a list of the known warp zones thus far:

World 5 Warp #1: Take the secret exit from the World 1 Tower.

World 5 Warp #2: Take the secret exit from Stage 2-A.

If you're having trouble defeating a boss, bring a Mega Mushroom into the stage. When you
fight the boss, activate the Mega Mushroom and simply stomp all over the enemy to defeat
him. This is especially useful at the end of the game where you have to fight two enemies
at once.

New Super Mario Bros. Hint: Item Gauging

To get a particular item from the red mushroom houses then hop into one.when toadsworth
starts the slot go under it. Here's the tricky part: pause the game two items before the
one you want and double tap A or B. For example, if you want a mini mushroom pause the
game at the flower and press A or B twice. Viola! you got the mini mushroom.

New Super Mario Bros. Hint: Bonus Mushroom House

If you complete any stage when the last two digits of your countdown timer are the same
(ex. 177, 233, 088) a bonus mushroom house will appear on the far left side of the world
map. Stopping the timer with 11, 22, or 33 will give you a red mushroom house with a
random item box. A timer with 44, 55, or 66 will give you a green mushroom house that
rewards you with 1-Ups. Stop the timer at 77, 88, or 99 and you'll unlock an orange
mushroom house that gives you a Mega Mushroom.

New Super Mario Bros. Hint: Infinite 1-Ups (World 2-2)

This is easiet when you are blue shell Mario. In World 2-2, go past the three turtles,
then past the cluster of power-ups, to find four coins enclosed by a cage of blocks.

When you take those out, you create a small, walled up gap where if you throw a shell
into it, it will bounce back and forth forever. You would already have been attacked by a
creature in a cloud throwing spiked shells at you. Stand close to it without stepping on
the shell, and let the cloud creature keep tossing the spikeys into the gap, where the
shell bouncing back and forth will take them out.

Press down (crouch) to hide in your blue shell so you don't get hurt. Soon, every spikey
that's thrown into the gap and taken out by the bouncing shell will give you one more
life. You'll reach 99 lives in no time.

In principle this works wherever you can get a shell to bounce back and forth
perpetually, and there's an endless supply of enemies dropping in to be taken out.

First press pause,then press L R L R X X Y Y and enjoy challenge mode!

in 2-3 go 2 the bottom of the maze to the water hit the power block while the water is
still high hit the other power block (on the celing) in the room where the coins r and
the water will rise more swim to the top and get on the side quickly as the water goes
back quickly this will take you the level under this on.2-a go all the way to the end and
you need to go in the yellow tube to do this you need to bounce on the koopa while spining
from the twisters and this will allow you to spin back up and get into the pipe.

To get 99 lives, go to world 1-1. Go about the level normally until you get to the end
where there are 3 blocks with a koopa on it and then the blocks to the flag. Make sure
you have firepower. Jump on the koopa and pick it up. Go to the 3rd or 4th step of the
steps to the flag and then wait until the koopa comes back to life. Do not worry about
dying. Once the koopa starts moving back and forth on the step, jump on it and then DO
NOT PRESS ANYTHING!! This is a skill that may take a couple of times to master but it is
totally worth it!

If you finish a level at the exact time as theese, 299 , 99 ,199 you will walk into the
little house thing and fireworks will apear. and after you finish the levela house were
you can get a giant mushroom will apear!

First you have to beat any level in any world, than make sure that the second number in
the timer is the same as the first number. Make sure that its above 4 or you get a red
toad house.

When you battle Bowser and Bowser Jr., you cannot run past Bowser like you could before.
If you try to run past him, you get hurt, and you get thrown back. DON'T TRY TO RUN PAST
BOWSER!!!

you know the part in world 1 lv1 where you get the big mushroom all you have to do is when
it's going to fall down get it and don't jump unless you have to and when you destroy the
flag you will get 5 1-ups

when you enter the bottom right and get to the P switch press the B button it will make
mario run very fast and enable him to go all the way before the bricks change to coins.
You may need to do it a few times but you will get there

this cheat only works with i theat or action replay k now go to world 5 level 2 go through
the tube and u know where wholes are in the bricks press r or l go just under one of the
wholesthen put any item in there and keep doing it and wait for about 1 min and then move
and if you go to far away it bye bye

I have a hard time looking for a way to find the last coin at the 1st castle of W8.  Does
anybody know the answer?

first you need to go to world 1 and play the first level(it is better if you are fire
mario.)

When you start run with X or Y and if you are fire mario keep throwing fire and running
until you get to the end .When you see thee flag (make sure you are on the stairs) wait
and look at the clock , the last two digits are 44,55 or 66 touch the flag and a green
mushroom house will appear

after defeating jr, i was a small mario, i waited for a while then when Bowser jumped
really high, i ran under him!! it worked!

Go to the world1 tower with a blue shell and do the lvl normally till you get to the first
pipe. then while you are sliding down wall jump to a blue platform. go into the door and
get the star coin. at the right most part of the screen you will see a tiny space that
mario/luigi can fit in. then go through and you will find yourself in a room smash all
the blocks with the shell the go into the pipe at the right side of the room. go through
it and get to the flag and then you will unlock the cannon lvl. start the lvl and go on
top of the cannon and press down and you will have made it to world 5! sorry it is kind
of hard to explain.

wait a little time on the title screen and you can watch a video scond time you watch it
it has luigi!

The easiest way to beat both bowsers is to get a super size mushroom. Then you run into
jumbo bowser. Little bowser can be beat using the regular jump/slam methods. as for
levels four and seven you get a mini mushroom from world one and tap on world  2 once you
have finished from there all you have to do is go through lev twos castle in mini and beat
the boss in mini form to get to lev 4. sorry if these directoins are unclear but i tried
to explain the best way i knew how. Ummm i guess thats it have fun on your ds or ds lite

first you must have a mega mushroom in your box(well

circle)when you reach a boss use it and move to him

(or in the final battle them)i beat the final battle

in seconds!

if you press L L L before you go down the pipe you have to be careful because bowser comes
out from the pipe like samara off the ring and curses your ds. this is real, no joke, its
been happening all over campus.

when I was play as luigi i closed my ds for a sec then i opened my ds and it said its me
mario when i was play as luigi.ps not a cheats just something funny

To get a giant mushroom you either have to go to a house that has a giant mushroom that
has red spots and yellow color. Or you can get it in a red prize box with wings. It is
obviously easy. Or you can just find one in one of the plain prize boxes.

to get to world 4 and 7 u have to beat the bosses when u r mini in w2 and w5

be on any level and just close your ds (dont turn it off). you will hear mario say "bye
bye" then open it and he will say "its me mario"

if you get action replay you can get stuff like always have blue shell allways be mega
mario and stuff like that.

On world 1-1 find the mega mushroom and wait till it gets to the end where the whole is
then grab it and crash through everything even the flag then you will end up getting some
lives,keep doing that until you get 99 lives!

1. first u have 2 beat the game(not including worlds4 & 7)

2. then u go to any world and pause

3. there should be a 'save' option

4. u can now save anywhere even without using ur star coins

I would like to know how to get the last coin  in I think it is level7 the first ghost
house at start a switch appears  once jumped on 6 doors appear bottom right door is the
door but i cannot get to the coin before the bricks change back help

when youget to w8z castal level complete it with mini guy and u willget new worlds added
on they are the fuunest of all!!!!!!!!!

ok, u get a mini mushroom and go up maybe a centimeter (in real life) and jump then press
d-pad down.NOTE: u must do 3 times with MOST bosses

first go to 1-4 in world one then when u get to like that big tower of those bricks before
that there is a turtle jump on the turtle and and and hold down Y which will let mario
pick up the turtle shell then hold down Y and when u need to jump make sure your still
holding y down. carry it all the way to  the two pipers that shot out those goffer
thingsand drop the turle shell and  jump over it everytime it comes towards u then it
will go  back and forth. acople times when that happens it will start giving u 1-ups




it takes a while  but keep ttrying and youll get it i  promise it took me a long time too

you can be fire mario/ luigi just keep firing bowser or be super mario        
or just avoid him and jump on the switch 

TIP:if your little not as mini mario i suggest dont jump over bowser

Alternate Whack-A-Mole sounds (Name of the game) (Mini-Game)

When playing the Whack-A-Mole mini-game, poke Luigi instead of the Monty Moles. The sound
effect he makes will change every ten times you hit him. If you poke him thirty times, he
will scream then repeat the pattern.

at the map screen pause the game and press l r l r x x y y next go to 1-2 and run so that
the starting point hole is just got a little to jump(sorry its hard to explain)jump and
hold left still holding left jump again until you slide though the wall

note that you will get stuck

when u get on to select a file press L and R and select what file u want to do at the same
time
