Capcom Vs. SNK 2 Cheats (Dreamcast)

Defeat all characters straight in survival mode and the custom groove option settings will
become infinite.

At the Groove selection screen, press Start.

Hold Start + FP after winning a stage to make your character say an opponent specific
quote. Hold Start + FK to make the character talk with a team member.

To taunt, hold A+B and press START.

Hidden Bosses can be used once they have been defeated. The conditions of the Bosses to
appear (Shin Gouki or God Rugal, randomly) are to fulfill two out of the following three
conditions:



Achieve over 1500 GPS by the end of the game.

Defeat the Middle Boss (Geese or Bison/Vega).

Achieve at least one Ultimate KO.

Yeah, they can have 8 different outfits!  
When selecting a
fighter, press X, Y, Z, A, B, or C for the six standard colors. Press X+Y+Z (or L) for the
seventh outfit, or A+B+C (or R) for the eighth color.

Once you finish the All Survivor mode, you get a cheat option for this. If you try to
create an Ex Groove using more than 4000 points, the game will prompt you to confirm, but
it will still work.

Boss challenge mode becomes available under the following two conditions. Both hidden
Bosses (God Rugal, Shin Akuma/Gouki) must already be defeated and unlocked. Hold X + Y
while selecting arcade mode.

Before a match begins, the versus screen will display pictures of your fighters, numbered
to indicate the order they were selected. You can change this order by choosing both the
first and second fighters of your team: to choose the first team member, press
LowPunch+LowKick (for fighter1), MediumPunch+MediumKick (for fighter2), or
HighPunch+HighKick (for fighter3). Repeat for the second fighter. Press START or wait to
stop the order change.

Clear Boss challenge mode with no continues to unlock the "Extra Option" in the game.

A whole new world....  
Highlight Arcade Mode, hold X+Y and
confirm the selection. Don't release X+Y until you reach the fighter selection screen.

The middle Boss appears when the following conditions are all fulfilled:



No time over has occurred.

The CPU has not made over six "first attacks".

The CPU has not made three or more Special KOs.

On Groove Select, press START to enable a random groove selection.

The Custom Groove option appears once a normal Boss has been defeated (normal
Akuma/Gouki or Rugal). Normal Bosses appear by fulfilling two of the four following
conditions:



Achieve over 1000 GPS by the end of the game.

Achieve four or more special KOs.

Middle Boss has appeared.

Achieve two or more LV3 super combo KOs.
