Pokemon Gold/Silver Cheats (GameBoy)

the longest and hardest path is the second one. this is how to get past it. (the ice paths
is the cave to get to Mahogany to Blackthorn!) first go up, left, up, right, up, right,
down, left, up, left, down, right, down, right, up, right! thats all you have to do! Ur
lucky that u get a cheat because it took me hours to figure it out!!!

OK GET ALL 3 STARTES WITHOUT GAMESHARK OR TRADING!!! OKAY WHEN YOU START THE GAME AND GO
INTO ELM'S LAB, SAVE BEFORE PICKING YOUR STATER, THEN DON'T SAVE UNTIL I SAY SO. AFTER YOU
GET THE 5 POKEBALLS CATCH ONE MORE POKEMON. THEN SAVE IN FRONT OF A PC. DEPOSSIT STARTER.
THEN SWITCH BOXES, AS IT SAYS SAVING DON'T TURN OF THE POWER, SAVE THE GAME. THEN RESET.
REPEAT. NOTE: OTHER STARTERS NOT IN PARTY WIGHDRAW FROM PC. THEIS REALLY WORKS I GOT ALL 3
STARTERS THIS WAY. NOTE YOUR POKEDEX WILL ONLY HAVE THE STATRER YOU ENDED THE TRICK WITH.
IT WONT HAVE THE FIRST FORM BUT THE SECOND AND THIRD WILL BE THERE

Trade the Red Gyarados back to Red/Blue/Yellow and let it learn TM 31, Mimic. Trade it
back and delete all of its moves except Mimic. Fight a wild Ditto. Let it use transform to
turn into your Gyarados. Use Mimic to mimic Transform. Let Gyarados use Transform. Let
Ditto use Transform again. Then, catch it. It will be shiny. Now that you have a shiny
Ditto, you can breed any Pokemon with it. Your odds of getting a shiny egg is 1:64 where
regular odds would be 1:8000.

Attach an item to your pokemon before you clone it and it will be cloned too - this works
with Master Ball and Rare Candies and more but those are the most popular ones =P

hey you guys this code i promise will work, if not i'll kill my self ok. Once your pokemon
has reached lv 100 fight with it using all of its PP. DO NOT HEAL AT POKE CENTER! IF YOU
DO THIS WILL NOT WORK. ok after using all of the pokemons move and only when it starts
using struggle go to a poke center(Do not heal!) use the duplicating and duplicate that
unhealed pokemon. when u turn the game back on the pokemon in the computer will have its
stats raised as if it had grown a level and its health will be returned. U can repeat this
code over and over if u please. try it out. ex. i have gotten my snorlax's hp up to 605
with this code.

for lugia go to the top right island (make sure you have silver wing and an escape rope
and the hm for surf) go in that one and go up right up and through the ladder go down left
down through the ladder surf right just once and go down the waterfall go right and inland
go up in the cave and in the water fight and catch lugia 



NOTE: lugia is level 40 in silver version BEWARE gold players lugia is level 70 in your
version

This cheat really works.



Step 1: Play a blue or red version pokemon game.



Step 2: Go to cerulean city and go to the nugget bridge.



Step 3: Go to that man in the grass and be sure you save if you mess up. 



Step 4: Walk south down the first lane you come across when you go to the grass.go as far
down as you can go without getting in his line of sight.



Step 5: Walk down and press start as quick as possible while in the middle of the step.



Step 6: Fly back to cerulean city. The man will show a ! above his head and after the !
you will fly.



Step 7: Go to the nugget bridge and find a youngster with one slowpoke. Its the boy close
to bills house.



Step 8: Battle him and win then fly back to cerulean city and once again go to nugget
bridge.



Step 9: Now when you get on nugget bridge after 2 or 3 steps on it you will see the menu
had popped up by its self.



Step 10: Close the menu and prepare to battle mew.



Step 11: If all the steps have been done correctly you should face a lvl 7 mew with only
one attack so far. The attack he has is pound.



Remember if you mess up and battled the youngster before you ever discovered this cheat
your out of luck.



Also note that MEW is a good all-round pokemon and can learn any move in the game.



NOTE YOU CAN TRADE MEW TO GOLD VERSION WHICH IS NOT LISTED IN THE STEPS.

it up and it will evolve into unown number 9 at 
lvl 100

Ok people...all those other cheats about chatching mew and celibi is G/S/C is just all
false. Believe it. If you want celibi or any other rare pokemon, go to a nintendo pokemon
contest ot something. Or get a gameshark.



Here is a useful tip. (note: may take some time)



Well you all know that you can get shiny pokemon...well if you go to a area where the same
pokemon is common alot like hoothoot at night then pick 1 patch were you know it is common
and just walk there for some time...here are the pors and cons...



Pro's- Pokemon gain levels

       After a while you WILL EVENTUALLY get a shiny version of that pokemon

       Good if you are bored.



Cons-  Takes time

       MUST BE PATIENT!



P.S...this has been tested...i was walking around at night for a while and then eventually
a Golden Hoothoot Appered and a golden Ratta Appeared and Also you can use this another
way



1)Go up to a rare pokemon that you can see (lugia, ho-hou)



2) Save in front of them



3) battle and if its not shiny....Turn off



4) Keep repeating this and eventually you will get a shiny version (THIS TAKES A LONG TIME
AND IF YOUR NOT LUCKY THIS CAN TAKE UP TO 3 HRS TO WORK) BUT IT WILL WORK,



again....it has been tested...now i got a orage ho-ho and my firend has a green
suddowoodo. And we got them without gameshark.

first get out your pokemon that knows surf

then catch a smergle (make sure it has sketched surf)then catch a pikachu then put them
into the day care then walk around then they will have a 

egg that will hatch into a pichu that knows SURF!

pikachu must be female amd smergle must be male

do it in this order only!!!



1:solve 1 puzzle (first one suggested)



2:catch 3 unknown



3:talk to guy outside cave with unknown



4:you should have unknown pokedex



this cheat is guaranteed to work!!!!

OKAY THIS IS HOW YOU GET HIM BEAT THE POKEMON LEANFE SORRY FOR MY SPELLING ITS WHERE YOU
BATTLE THE FOUR FLOORS ICE MASTER THEN GRASS MASTER THEN DARK MASTER THEN DRAGON MASTER
THEN YOU GO TO THE 7TH BANGE TOWN GO IN THE CAVE YOU HAF TO HAVE A MASTER BALL OR YOU WANT
GET LUGIA FIND HIM IN THAT CAVE WHERE THE 7TH BANGE IS DON'T TAKE ANY POKEBALLS ONLY
MASTER BALLS PLEASE RATE FOR ME THANCK YOU

-Make sure you haven't battled the Gambler with two Poliwags and a Poliwhirl. He is facing
the Underground Path toward Celadon city...on Route 8. Also, make sure you haven't fought
the Youngster on Route 24, he's just after a Hiker and is facing North. If you have, the
code won't work.



-You need Fly. (Aka HM02)



-Get some Ultra Balls, and anything else you would use to catch a Level 7 Mew, that only
knows Pound.





Go to the Gambler I talked about before. Save AT the door he is facing. Don't make him
battle you. SAVE HERE, this is tricky. Now, step one step towards him, and PRESS START.
Really fast. If you did it right, the menu will pop up, but he won't battle you. Now Fly
to Cerulean City.

[If you've done this right, after you use Fly, he will get the "!" over his head]



Note: You cannot use START, A, or B.



Note: Do NOT save anywhere after this. First of all, you can't save when your buttons
don't work. But second, when they work again, saving will ruin the Mew code, and not allow
you to get the Mew. Ever. Keep your saved file from before you battled the Gambler.



[If you've done this right, you can't press Start]

Walk (you can't use start) to the Youngster, and when you battle him, make sure he WALKS
TO YOU. Don't go directly in front of him. Beat him, and (now your buttons work) Fly to
Lavender Town (Or Saffron City).



[If you've done this right, the Start menu WILL pop up when it should]

Now if you went to Lavender, go to the left of town, and start to enter that narrow
passageway. If you went to Saffron, go right, to where the guard lets you past if you give
him a drink. Either way, the Start menu will pop up. Do NOT save here. Press B. Mew will
appear. This is your ONLY chance. (unless you go to your save file before the Gambler)
Ta-Da...its a Mew.
