Pokemon Gold/Silver Cheats (GameBoy)

step1:dont go the burned tower yet until u defeated eight gym leader 
step2:when profelm call u he wil get u a master ball
step3:then duplicate the master ball and go awake the dogs 
step4.next use max repel   and get weak pokemon in a first leader to attract the dog nad
go south and east and west not north and viola u got yourself a three legendary dogs.
trust me it works i promise for u guys i wouldnt let u guys down for real

Trade the Red Gyarados back to Red/Blue/Yellow and let it learn TM 31, Mimic. Trade it
back and delete all of its moves except Mimic. Fight a wild Ditto. Let it use transform
to turn into your Gyarados. Use Mimic to mimic Transform. Let Gyarados use Transform. Let
Ditto use Transform again. Then, catch it. It will be shiny. Now that you have a shiny
Ditto, you can breed any Pokemon with it. Your odds of getting a shiny egg is 1:64 where
regular odds would be 1:8000.

hey you guys this code i promise will work, if not i'll kill my self ok. Once your pokemon
has reached lv 100 fight with it using all of its PP. DO NOT HEAL AT POKE CENTER! IF YOU
DO THIS WILL NOT WORK. ok after using all of the pokemons move and only when it starts
using struggle go to a poke center(Do not heal!) use the duplicating and duplicate that
unhealed pokemon. when u turn the game back on the pokemon in the computer will have its
stats raised as if it had grown a level and its health will be returned. U can repeat
this code over and over if u please. try it out. ex. i have gotten my snorlax's hp up to
605 with this code.

Ok people...all those other cheats about chatching mew and celibi is G/S/C is just all
false. Believe it. If you want celibi or any other rare pokemon, go to a nintendo pokemon
contest ot something. Or get a gameshark.



Here is a useful tip. (note: may take some time)



Well you all know that you can get shiny pokemon...well if you go to a area where the
same pokemon is common alot like hoothoot at night then pick 1 patch were you know it is
common and just walk there for some time...here are the pors and cons...



Pro's- Pokemon gain levels

       After a while you WILL EVENTUALLY get a shiny version of that pokemon

       Good if you are bored.



Cons-  Takes time

       MUST BE PATIENT!



P.S...this has been tested...i was walking around at night for a while and then
eventually a Golden Hoothoot Appered and a golden Ratta Appeared and Also you can use
this another way



1)Go up to a rare pokemon that you can see (lugia, ho-hou)



2) Save in front of them



3) battle and if its not shiny....Turn off



4) Keep repeating this and eventually you will get a shiny version (THIS TAKES A LONG
TIME AND IF YOUR NOT LUCKY THIS CAN TAKE UP TO 3 HRS TO WORK) BUT IT WILL WORK,



again....it has been tested...now i got a orage ho-ho and my firend has a green
suddowoodo. And we got them without gameshark.

Attach an item to your pokemon before you clone it and it will be cloned too - this works
with Master Ball and Rare Candies and more but those are the most popular ones =P

do it in this order only!!!



1:solve 1 puzzle (first one suggested)



2:catch 3 unknown



3:talk to guy outside cave with unknown



4:you should have unknown pokedex



this cheat is guaranteed to work!!!!

the longest and hardest path is the second one. this is how to get past it. (the ice paths
is the cave to get to Mahogany to Blackthorn!) first go up, left, up, right, up, right,
down, left, up, left, down, right, down, right, up, right! thats all you have to do! Ur
lucky that u get a cheat because it took me hours to figure it out!!!

to be able to continue with a corupt file, before you save press A B START and Select at
the same time, then you save and you will be able to play.

first get out your pokemon that knows surf

then catch a smergle (make sure it has sketched surf)then catch a pikachu then put them
into the day care then walk around then they will have a 

egg that will hatch into a pichu that knows SURF!

pikachu must be female amd smergle must be male

to catch lugia u need 2 go 2 the top right whirl island. Enter it, then go up the left
over the wall. 

Go over another wall (i think) and go in the ladder. 

It leads 2 a place surrounded by water. Keep goin right til a wall cums. Go down the
waterfallthe go left, then up into another entrance. U will see water. Go up and Lugia is
there. (WARNING!u need a silver wing to see Lugia read the next cheat 2 find out where 2
get 1)

to catch ho-oh beat all the gym leaders in johto then go to professor elms lab talk to her
and get the master ball clone it and make sure you have the rainbow wing on the first one
you have to go right then up then left then right and go through the door go down but
don't jump down there go left go down left up right an go through the door you see now go
up right after two jumps go down then jump twice left and go down 3 times go right and
down twice go right the down and go through the door this one is easy you really should
know how to do that so ill skip that go up left don't go through the teleport go right
then down right down and go through the teleport go straight down ad go through that go
left down and go through it go up left and in down and left and go in go up and you'll c
ho-oh fight him and through the master ball and he's yours

-Make sure you haven't battled the Gambler with two Poliwags and a Poliwhirl. He is facing
the Underground Path toward Celadon city...on Route 8. Also, make sure you haven't fought
the Youngster on Route 24, he's just after a Hiker and is facing North. If you have, the
code won't work.



-You need Fly. (Aka HM02)



-Get some Ultra Balls, and anything else you would use to catch a Level 7 Mew, that only
knows Pound.





Go to the Gambler I talked about before. Save AT the door he is facing. Don't make him
battle you. SAVE HERE, this is tricky. Now, step one step towards him, and PRESS START.
Really fast. If you did it right, the menu will pop up, but he won't battle you. Now Fly
to Cerulean City.

[If you've done this right, after you use Fly, he will get the "!" over his head]



Note: You cannot use START, A, or B.



Note: Do NOT save anywhere after this. First of all, you can't save when your buttons
don't work. But second, when they work again, saving will ruin the Mew code, and not
allow you to get the Mew. Ever. Keep your saved file from before you battled the Gambler.



[If you've done this right, you can't press Start]

Walk (you can't use start) to the Youngster, and when you battle him, make sure he WALKS
TO YOU. Don't go directly in front of him. Beat him, and (now your buttons work) Fly to
Lavender Town (Or Saffron City).



[If you've done this right, the Start menu WILL pop up when it should]

Now if you went to Lavender, go to the left of town, and start to enter that narrow
passageway. If you went to Saffron, go right, to where the guard lets you past if you
give him a drink. Either way, the Start menu will pop up. Do NOT save here. Press B. Mew
will appear. This is your ONLY chance. (unless you go to your save file before the
Gambler) Ta-Da...its a Mew.

 THIS WORKS I HAVE TRYED IT

This cheat really works.



Step 1: Play a blue or red version pokemon game.



Step 2: Go to cerulean city and go to the nugget bridge.



Step 3: Go to that man in the grass and be sure you save if you mess up. 



Step 4: Walk south down the first lane you come across when you go to the grass.go as far
down as you can go without getting in his line of sight.



Step 5: Walk down and press start as quick as possible while in the middle of the step.



Step 6: Fly back to cerulean city. The man will show a ! above his head and after the !
you will fly.



Step 7: Go to the nugget bridge and find a youngster with one slowpoke. Its the boy close
to bills house.



Step 8: Battle him and win then fly back to cerulean city and once again go to nugget
bridge.



Step 9: Now when you get on nugget bridge after 2 or 3 steps on it you will see the menu
had popped up by its self.



Step 10: Close the menu and prepare to battle mew.



Step 11: If all the steps have been done correctly you should face a lvl 7 mew with only
one attack so far. The attack he has is pound.



Remember if you mess up and battled the youngster before you ever discovered this cheat
your out of luck.



Also note that MEW is a good all-round pokemon and can learn any move in the game.



NOTE YOU CAN TRADE MEW TO GOLD VERSION WHICH IS NOT LISTED IN THE STEPS.

THIS CHEAT WORKS I PROMISE.

This cheat will require:

Pokemon Yellow

A link cable and another gameboy OR A transfer pak and Pokemon Stadium 2



First do the "Mew glitch" on Pokemon Yellow.

Then if you use the Pokemon Stadium trading method heres what you do: Put the Mew into a
N64 box in Oaks Lab in Pokemon Stadium 2. Then use Pokemon Silver and transfer Mew onto
Silver.

Or if you use 2 gameboys and a link cable trade Pokemon through the Pokemon center.

Now you have Mew on Silver!

now you go ecruteak city and go to the dance theater 

after that you have to defeat all the kimono girls 

if you do talk to thee old man he will give you an HM surf

REALLY WORKS! SHOWS HOW ALL MEW CHEATS ARE CORRECT!!!



Ok, trust me this works. All of you guys with the Mew cheats or whatever are right. BUT!,
you guys are not unlocking the true potential of this cheat!You don't always have to
battle the slowpoke!



This seems confusing at first, but dont worry, i made a lot of steps that could have been
just one.





1.First find a trainer that sees you as soon as you can see them. (You might be seen your
first try)

2.Shut off and go back to them.

3. Right before they see you press start( An "!" should appear above their head, but if
you did it right, you will fly away before they walk towards you.)

4.Fly to any city

5.Most of your game functions will be disabled

6.Fight any Trainer

7.You will now have your game functions back

8. Have a Pokemon with a Special of 21(for Mew) or another amount, that corresponds with
the Pokemon here:

9. Go to Fushcia. Go past the Guard gate to the right and fight a Ditto. Let him
transform first before you kill him.

10. Quickly, without fighting any other pokemon go back to the area of the first trainer.

11. The start menu will pop up. Press B to exit

12. You will be launched into Battle with whatever corresponding pokemon and special you
chose.

HINT: use the duplicate items cheat to get masterballs and just use those!

I Have all starting pokemon plus mew and other rare ones, and i never used Gameshark or
anything!

put an unown A and Z in the day care they will have an egg it will b a number 1 just level
it up and it will evolve into unown number 9 at 
lvl 100

take a pokemon with any item you want(balls,rare candy,tms,etc...) and put the pokemon in
box 5 (you should first save!) then switch to box 14 and when it says:"saving dont t..."
then turn off the gameboy and if you did it crectely you will have two of the pokemon and
two of the items you gave him(you could only do it with 1 or 2 pokemon, if more than you
will mess up your game). 
believe me i did it tons of times

for lugia go to the top right island (make sure you have silver wing and an escape rope
and the hm for surf) go in that one and go up right up and through the ladder go down
left down through the ladder surf right just once and go down the waterfall go right and
inland go up in the cave and in the water fight and catch lugia 



NOTE: lugia is level 40 in silver version BEWARE gold players lugia is level 70 in your
version

to get celebi, the only way is to get 250 pokemon regestered into the pokedex and their
info. then talk to pro. elm, he will give you a G.S ball. then go to the forest with the
sherine and place the G.S ball in it. the next thing you'll know is that celebi is
chanellging you to a match, capture him and then you got your self a celebi.

go to Union cave every friday and you'll see a lapras, before you battle it save. then if
it is not shiny turn ur GB off the On continue this until you battle a Shiny
Lapras...P.S. I tried this trick and Im so lucky... -this cheat depends on your luck-

to Know how much your pokemon love you you have to go to goldonrod city and go to the just
above the bike shop there will be a girl she will tell how much your first pokemon loves
you!!

first go to burned tower in ecruteak city enter

go up to the top left use rock smash battle the guy go down the hole go up the stairs you
will see them they will run away after they can be anywere in joto in the grass when you
have seen them in the grass.if you dont catch them/he/she it will be on your pokedex 



WARNING:LOOK OFTEN THEY MOVE AROUND

First who talk to Proffesor elm(when you start the game) then you go talk to professor oak
and u will give a egg and go back o professor elm and he will say that it is a pokemon egg
beat the first gym leader in violet city and professor elm will call you and go to the
hospial and talk to the guy nearest to the counter and he will say do u want to keep the
egg.... say yes and he will give you the egg and the egg will hatch in 5000 steps....(sry
for the bad typo and grammar)

on silver version, lugia is about lv forty

he will have an awsome move, i think its called aeroblast. It is the strongest flying
type move ever.

However, on gold version, lugia is lv 70, and he doesnt know it.

In ordr to get this move, you must own a nintendo 64, and a n64 transferpack, and Pokemon
Stadium 2. If you dont have any of this, get it on ebay.

insert the transfer pack into the controller, and insert Gold into the transfer pack. and
play  Pokemon Stadium 2. 

There, you can do mystery gift and other good stuff, but whats important is beating all
of the gym learders and the elite 4 with your pokemon from the game ,but make sure you
have lugia in your party.(moderately hard)

When you defeat Lance, he will ask you if you want any of your party members to remember
a forgotten move (FINNALY! YOU CAN GET RID OF HMS)

say yes and moke lugia remember his uuber beast move. Im not quite sure if ho-oh has
sacred fire on silver, but you can get it the same way.
