During battles with enemies, you will notice that annoying window that pops up after each
attack, by you or the enemy. This can pull you out of the experience a lot. To turn this
off, press Y to open the menu (when not in battle), go down to "System" and the second BTL
selection. Choose "Popup" to make it so only the damage numbers will appear above the
enemies heads, like Final Fantasy.

While on the Lesser Celestial River, you will come across aqua people that jump out of the
water and attack you. If you use Escape while fighting, the aqua people will just keep
jumping in and out of the water.
