When you are Ness and flying off the stage press up b and control the ball  and hit your
self and you will fly on the stage.If you fall off the right side of the stage the ball
will need to hit your self on the right side of the body. Same with the left. the best
part is you don't get damage (percentage).

Select Zelda as your character. Before a match starts, hold A until the match starts. If
you did it right, Zelda will immediately turn to Sheik.

The faster way for you to get Dr. Mario, is to go to adventure mode as mario as the
character and win at any difficulty.

To get Falco u have 2 do  100 man melee and beat it (TIP!) try being DK and do B down alot
and when youre takin alot of damage just do what ever the heck u want.

Do stock battle and set the stock to 1. You be Kirby. Swallow someone and walk off the
edge with them in your mouth. It counts as they die first, so you don't loose a life!
This is no joke. Even try it.

When you finish All star, Adventure, or Classic at the end you will have to shoot all the
names that appear on the screen. After that you have to battle Toad and win him.

okk... here's how it goes. first, go into custom rule melee and change "stock to "3",
"item flow" to "none", and "stock time limit" to "off." choose two of your best
characters(for fighting mewtwo, mine were bowser and pikachu) and go into a match in the
pokemon stadium level. place both fighters on the pokeball in the middle. don't pause the
game! unplug the controllers, and leave the system on overnight to accumulate game time.
in the morning, plug the controllers in again, and have one of the fighters die three
times. then  pause and quit, and hopefully mewtwo will come!

Frist you have to breack all of the tagerts with everyone and then you will have Dream
Land

Keep pressing Side (B) with fox a little away from  the center of 100 man melee keep doing
it back and forth until you complete it or take donkey kong and do down (B) the whole ,
This really works

go to vs mode with no items on and leave your gc on over night and wene you get back home
kill who your vsing and then you fight mewtwo

have 4 controllers and leave the gamecube on over night then in the morning finish the
melee and the winner will have to battle mewtwo beat him and he will be one of the
characters youcan select from

This is not fake. You just have to hit the Sandbag in Home-Run contest over 3000 feet as
Yoshi. Afterwards,a Screen will show up that says ''Take a step back in time to the
lovely Yoshi`s Island!'' Note: This stage was in the first game in the SSB series.

i no the best ever cheat if you have a game for gameboy advance or gamecube that has a
charecter you want on melee just do this.ok i borrowed my freinds gamecube and hooked it 
up to my tv if you can play both games at once(same tv different chanels) if you play both
games at once then you can pick a charecter from the non melee game then they will have
moves from the non melee game unless they don't fight in the game then you make they're
moves.do the same thing for gba acsept hook it up to your melee game well playing a
different game 
P.S. i did it with james bond agent under fire this is what james was awsome.his jump was
a jump and his second was his q-jet his b-up was q-claw it was like foxes you pressed b-up
then it paused for a sec then you aimed it with the throttle and it shot if it hooked a
platform then you would go there and hang on to the ledge his b move was switch gun his b
side was fire (auto aimed) and his b down was q- laser (only works at james bond area,
prison to get through the cage doors there is one seperating the battlefield that only
james can pass through  hope yu like my cheat        !!

Okay, to taunt a player in ssbm you need to press up on the control pad (not the control
stick).

For instance Kirby puffs up and says "hieie" on the other hand bowser roars with rage. 

In conclusion that is how you taunt a player in ssbm.  Chou!

what you do is get kirby to fight giga bowser on adventure mode. he tends to use butt
pound a lot, right? have kirby float off the stage (so you are able to get back on the
sage). Giga bowser may do butt pound right off the stage. (WARNING: you need to move fast
enough not to die when getting hit or not getting hit at all)

get DK press down and B, and when count down (5-1)

press A as fast as you can and you beat that guy up only in clasic mode easy and you
unlock ROY and MARTH

part 1:if u want to unlock baloon fighter it will be easy play a match at icicle mountin
with the music track balloon fight (see below)for 10 minutes,hold L&R at same time well
stage is loading to change music track,play as the ice climbers agianst ice climbers with
item drop hi using only freezies after the match baloon fighter will chalenge you 

PART 2: to unlock the stage luigie's mansion simply get 10 vacuem luigi trophies then do
luigi vs. mario and u will hav it 

part 3:  to unlock the item nuclear rain showere from tanks just play a match with samus
and link with high item drop rate with bob-ombs and motien senser bombs using only ther
b-down moves then you will unlock it it is a little comuter animated tank that u throw in
the air and it points up fires somthing and vanishes at the last 20 seconds of the matck
it rains little silver things that hit the ground an blow any enemy up in the air with
the range of one of thosre explosiv things at peaches castle

                                                           

all you have to do is use jigglypuff use down b on giga bowser till all his lives are gone
and then when the last two are left that would be mewtwo and gannondorf just fly to each
edge of the stage keep going back and forth when they come close to you and when a bomb
comes it will blow them up or use a pokeball i hope this is a helpful trick.

if you suck with jigglypuff and you really want to kill 5 wireframes in cruel melee.this
is how you do it.Get pikachu jump on the left platform.KEEp using down + b.eventually you
will kill 5 or more.I did it in my fifth try.IT was really easy!!!

To do some massive damage to a certain opponent on team melee, you must have a 2 on 1
match.  You with a com and another com.  Have items on and selct ONLY the hammer and the
super scope on.  Once you have done this and have started your battle, have you shoot the
super scope with the small blasts rapidly and your teammate wielding the hammer.  You must
shoot at the opponent while your teammate takes a few whacks with the hammer at him/her. 
Any hit from the hammer will not send the oppnent flying but instead increasing the
opponent's damage close or past 190%.  After that, either you or your opponent can easily
finish the character off with a good smash attack.

go to adventure with any character,any difficulty and finish the first level with 2 in the
seconds place like 3:12,

to unlock saria play a ten minute match with link and young link vs gannondorf and zelda
then go to sound test and play sarias song, leave it for 5 minutes and then go to the
main screen (tat says super smash bros. melee) and put in yyxxyyyxxxyxstart. when you
press start it will take you to the main screen and then go to the trophie lottery and
put in 10 coins saria will come out.next time you beat adventure mode it will say you've
unlocked saria.

To unlock starman use starman item 50 times in a single vs. match then u will get a mesege
it will say congratulations you've unlocked all playable charecters get to fi-wait a
second aaaaaa then another mesage will come up again it will say starman here
congratulattions youve lost all your playable charecters hahahahahahaha! now you will not
be able to play but wait go to event 51 it will be called all star mach of doom it will
show the charechter you play as it's starman it's an easy event though you vs. all 25
charechters as starman he is realy good and when you beat the event and then from there
on in you get all charecters back and event 52:event match of doom where you can always
play as starman.

oh yeah also starmans moves:b-use,b-down-charge invincability,b smash-charge heal,b
up-float up in the air and move werever you want for 10 seconds.and use means use what
you have charged heal charge he glows with pinkish-red and use will revive 50% health
invincability charge you will glow gold and when used 10 starmen will jump out of u one
by one giving u star man invincability each time it nears the end another starman jumps
up and lands as soon as it ends basicly starman invinciblility x10 is a

to unlock gannon from ocarina of time beat very hard all star mode with gannondorf using 5
continues only and then you will face him if you beat him then it will say "big strong and
here to serve you with his giant blades it's gannon" the best part is he can only be hurt
in the tail or the head

To unlock Roy, you need to do classic with Marth. Roy will challenge you. He does his B
attack called Flare Blade a couple of times. He's hard. If you have marth and did this
but it didn't work, do 900 V.S mode melees with anybody. Like I said, he's hard. Watch
out for him!

Dont bother trying out theys thing!!!! there all lies if you want giga bowser get action
replay and downlaod the debug menu!!!! winii the pooh/tiger!!!! idiots... Jack
sparow!!!barbie...gorge bush!!! The people that made theys are stupid losers with now
lifes!

This is sooooooooooooooooooooooo easy to do you must be cpt.falcon or ganon [ganadorf]
play classic mode on normal or higher than you'll face master hand [of corce] when you
get his health to between 160 to 150 hp the game will freze for a moment then there will
be a laugh in the background then a hand will apper that is crazy hand.This is just like
event 50 except master hands hp is lower and i did event 50 and the 2 hands whith ganon.

Please don't tell me people are still sending fake cheats for characters.

This is just sad, I actually saw a cheat for Silver the Hedgehog, a character of Sega

young link will challenge you. P.s play in order from mario and when you finish the hand
with zelda ,young link will challenge you

There are three stages you can unlock from the original SSB.

Jungle Japes-Even though it has the same name as another stage, it's real.  You must beat
15-minute melee.

Dream Land-You must beat Target Test with all characters (including the ones you unlock)

Yoshi's Island-In the Home-Run contest, hit Sandbag about 1,400 feet (I don't remember
the actual distance, but it's somewhere around there).

first go to training mode which is alot easyer and then set your carator to stand go right
to to the opponetand hold l or r and then prees a and you might do it.

This accually works my bro and i tryed it but its not really a cheat just something funny
to see. BEST TO USE:Roy, then anyother character you want. LEVEL:Temple of Time. WHERE:
botton platform not the circler one but the long one. Ok get roy on the bottom platform
near the left part that goes up but more off to the right undernear the level. use any
other character on SUPER SUDDEN DEATH and put that character right beside roy. get roy to
use his UP A move on the character(best fully charged on the first time) get the 2P to
keep pressing L or R when ever he/she hits the ground to continusly get hit by move. keep
doing this until the character is on the roof of that bottom part. now quickly over to the
left where it goes up and left the level suck your character away upwards. like i said its
not a cheat but it's funny to see happen

sonic is EXTREMLEY fast but you can unlock mewtwo faster then you can say
candyloshessuperwooper!heres how,first be your stronget guy in VS(do melee and make it
have no items,do stock melee and make everybody have 3 lives,no time limet remember!)
then choose all those other players as cpus then finish the battle(DON'T FALL ASLLESP
BECAUSE YOU NEED TO DO THIS FOR 24 HOURS!) WIN! and  last but not lest you battle
mewtwo,KICK HIS TAIL to play as the almighty legendary mewtwo!

When playing as Kirby, go to the edge of the stage. Have your back to the edge and face
your opponent. Grapple and then throw him in the direction of the edge. Kirby will try to
backdrop your enemy on the ground but will only fall off the edge (taking your opponent
with you)
This trick works really well in classic and allstar mode. Just be sure that it's the last
enemy you kill, or you'll die too.

Go to melee,pick your character & after you do that Pick Ness...go to Jungle Jape. After
you go to JJ,1 STOCK.What Ever  you do...DO NOT MOVE.He will strait to the Waterfall.Very
to kill a ness.
Oh Forget Something,Put your Ness on Level 9.

Change the match type to 1 life stock. Use only 1 player. You can be anyone you want. The
cpu has to be Ness at level 9. Go to the Kongo Jungle stage. The one with the shack over
the river. When the match starts DON'T DO ANYTHING. Ness will jump right into the river.
Works every time. He must be mental or something. Oh, wait...
NOTE:If you don't follow these rules exactly, it won't work. So listen to me because no
one ever does.

Sometimes, very, very, rarely, when you brake a crate, a redead will pop out in any stage.
Also, the four-legged little monster that shoots rocks at u may appear as well.

i am dead serius when i looked on this website and saw cheats on giga bowser i thought it
was a lie but then i tryed it and  turns out it wasn't a lie.its easy to get to  him you
must be falco or fox.[i did falco].you play throgh adventure mode on normal or higher
without contenues then when you get to bowser beat him then it will have the same sequis
of his trope falling but after that his tropy comes from the dead then insted of bowser
it's giga bowser when you beat him you beat him you get his tropy.[you probly think it's
a rip-of like i think

because you don't unlock him as a playable character, sucks doesn't it].

all u need to do is play as link younglink and zelda and gandorf let it sit for 2 hours
and then let link win after the fight he will want to fight!!!!!!!!!!
