Sonic 2 Cheats (Genesis)

At the title screen (u can do this whilst the title screen is appearing to) press Up, Up,
Up, Down, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right. U shuld here a 'dingaling' (the sound of
collecting a ring). Now quickly hold the A button and press Start.

lock on you'r sonic & knuckles cartridge to you'r sonic 2 cartridge press up up up down
down down left right left right at the title screen.  hold a then start.

lock on you'r sonic & knuckles cartridge to you'r sonic 2 cartridge go to the level select
do this code (,1,6,7,7,7,2,1,6,) then go to death egg zone defeat mecha sonic and the big
robot run out the death egg when you see a red flash quickly press b there will be six
pictures of tails press b then knuckles will be super knuckles

To get Hidden Palace,enter this Game Genie code 314R-8875 and enter the level select code
and go to the Level Select.Enter Debug Mode,highlight Death Egg Zone,Press A+Start.
Hidden Palace will be the one later seen in Sonic 3 And Knuckles but with no boss or
signpost,just a capsule and this level has 1 act but was pulled to release Sonic And
Knuckles on time.After this level,you come out at Hill Top Zone.

First, activate the Level Select (19,65,09,17) + the Debug code (1,9,9,2,1,1,2,4). Then go
into one of those green+white chequered ball things that shoot you out. As soon as you
come out of it (not before or this cheat won't work),press B,B(very quickly or it won't
work), you will find (if you did it right) that you can move at double the speed and jump
at double height!



NOTE:This cheat cuts out if either: 

-You enter a ball again

-You finish the level

-You activate it on a ball that doesn't lead you into another ball.

-You die/cheat death (press B when the dead sprite goes up a little, then B again)

-You didn't hold A+C when you entered the level.

-You turn the machine off.

-You press Reset.

-You pull out the cartridge with the machine on.

-You burn/submerge/crush/bend/eat/lose/shoot/pierce/

sell/hack the cartridge.

-You mistake the toaster for the SEGA Genesis

-You dismantle Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Sonic 3, Sonic and Knuckles, and try to remantle them
into one cartridge using PVA Glue

-You break the cartridge whilst trying to put it in the Gameboy.

-You try to fax it to a distant relative, breaking the cartridge, and the fax machine.

-You bash the cartridge to death while trying to fit it in the USB Port

-You dismantle the SEGA Genesis, buy a SEGA Megadrive from EBay, dismantle the Megadrive,
and weld it to your bedroom door.

To get Scorge, you must enter the level select and debug code. Then you must

choose one of the emerald hill zone levels because the code only works in

emerald hill zone.When you start the level press B, you will be a

ring,then press a four times,you will be four rings in a row going up or

down,you then hold c and right for about 5 seconds,then you go back to the

begining, keep pressing a until your the top of a waterfall. You may not see

yourself but you're there. Now do the same thing as before, hold c and right

for about five seconds. Then press b and you'll be Sorge the hedgehog.

go to 1 player plugin another pad and with secend player pad play tails/miles.

p.s. must play sonic and tails on options

go to the level select. go down to sound test do this code (,1,9,9,2,1,1,2,4,) go to zone
1 there 'B' you will be a ring press 'A' four times you will be nothing then add it on
its a waterfall. then add them on the screen like crazy then press B sonic will be green.

This cheat is just a mistake made by the creators of Sonic 2. All you have to do is go to
the sound test. Press right on the D-pad till you get to #10 on the sound test. Then
press B. This song is a song used on a lvl that was deleted after the beta version. The
song isn't used in the copyrighted version of Sonic 2. If you want to see this lvl go to
youtube and type Sonic 2 Hacks. One of the lvls has it( I forget XD) and if you wanna
play it just look up some roms and e-mail me when you find a good one (I want one :D)

do the super knuckles code then choose a high level 'cause this may not work in level 1.
so once you'r in a level collect more then 50 rings then double jump.

Enter the level select, debug and super sonic code. Select any level and place 50 or more
rings

on the screen. Get all of them and jump to transform into Super Sonic. Place 2 tvs on the
screen (they will be switch boxes) and do the spin dash to hit both of them and then you
will see super sonic with stars around him. You'll now be a better, invincible Super
Sonic. Have fun!!!!!

to be ds (Death Sonic) get a ring on emerald hill (just one) then go through the game
getting no other rings. when you get to the death egg metal sonic will refuse to fight
you and say "he is too strong" robotnik will tehn fight you, defeat him and start the
game again, you will now play as metal sonic.

To do this trick, do the above (Debug Mode) Cheat, press 'b' on a level to turn into a
ring, keep pressing 'c' until you have 50 rings. jump, and you will turn into Super
Sonic. Now, press 'b' and keep pressing 'c' until you have 999 rings. Now you will be
Super Sonic forever! (AT LEAST UNTIL YOU RUN OUT OF RINGS!) :)

do this code (,1,9,9,4,1,0,1,8) choose any level. hold a then start.

sart has normaland then after a while (about5mins)exit and at thr sound test press
1,1,1,3,3,3,4,4,4,5,5,5,6,6,6,7,7,7,8,8,8,9,9,9.

and press start and get 100 rings to be him

Do the debug and the super sonic code. Select any level and place 50 or more rings. Get
them and jump to be Super Sonic. Now place a tv and hit it. Tails will be super and
you'll be like the normal sonic but still gold. Get hurt and you'll be blue again. Now
place 50 rings and get all of them to be Super Sonic and Tails will be super still

after  wing fortress u got to deth star when u fite metel sonic u hit im at an angle to
get him destroyd

how to get 100 continues

 enter debug code and at the main title screen press A B C at the same.

At the title screen, press up, up, up, down, down, down, up or up, Up, Down,

Down, Up, Up, Up, Up. a bell will ring and tails will be called Miles.  to

change it back, just do it again.

Do you want over 60 lives or even more? If you just follow this simple cheat you could get
99 lives. Do the level select and enter the debug code. Then select the level "Aquatic
Ruin". It doesen't matter what act it is. Then you start putting them like crazy. Kill
them and you could get lots of lives. I made 188 lives by doing that!!!!!

use debug mode and super sonic cheat go to any zone and place 50 rings and turn into
supersonic then u dont have to jusp to attack boss (you've gotta be sonic or sonic and
tails + it wont work with final boss) enjoy ) D

after the sega logo about to go away press start over and over again 'till the title
screen appiers

To do this cheat you have to do the level select, super sonic code and debug code. Select
death egg zone. Place rings everywhere until you got 50 or more. Jump to transform into
Super Sonic. Now you can beat death egg zone easily!



Note: You can select any level when you do the 

      debug and super sonic code.

Do the level select and then enter the debug code. Select any stage with Tails in it. Do
the spin dash and then place a lot of baddies on Tails. Your lives will increase very
quickly and if you carry on your amount could be over 200!

Enter the level select and debug code and select Chemical Plant act 2. Push B to turn into
a ring and move inside the high part of the water. Push B and then go through the water
then push B again. Don't move until you hear a ding sound (The sound you hear when you
are in the water for a few seconds). Then move out of the water. If you're out of the
water and you did it right, you will hear the same ding sound. Then push B again. Move
around the level and you will soon hear the drowning music. Once it ends, Sonic will
still be alive but no music plays. After a few minutes, your game might freeze. If it
doesn't, go to the boss and try hitting him a few times. If the game freezes, just reset
the game and it will go back to normal (well hopefully it does).

Do the level select and debug code, then place abunch of brake tourgh things at the
begining.

Speedball thorugh them and you will be spining thorugh the level, until you go in two
green and black checkerd cannons and get spit out on land.

use the debug mode select a stage green hill zone 1 go in up end located  
the TV invincible jump on the TV end trasform in supersonic there will be supersonic with
the star: is hipersonic!
