At the player & option screen, move the cursor to options, BUT DO NOT SELECT IT! Hold
A, B, C, & Right
  on controller 2 and press Start on controller 1. Now
  look for 2 new options, "Players" and "Level Select".

On Level 3 after defeating the boss use your special power before he hits the ground and
you will get a 5,000 point bonus!  be sure to save your power till you defeat the boss.
