Cruisin USA Cheats (Nintendo 64)

When you start racing, you are on the freeway. After the first two turns you have to see a
broken car. If you hit this broken car, it will fly through the air and it will land just
in front of the leading car.

Complete a two player challenge game and continuously sweep the Analog Stick in a
clockwise Full-Circle. This will make the right front wheel of the losing player's
vehicle fall off after the car rotates about four times.

When you have entered your initials in the 'Hot Times' screen, scroll down to the bottom
of the list. Hold L for 40 seconds. A designers head will show up and will say: 'I love
this job'. When you race with the policecar or the schoolbus, and you press Brake twice
and Gas once, the carlights will flash until you don't give gas.

If you played a two player challenge, the loser will lose his front wheel when you start
turning your joystick in rounds. ( to the right, that is )

Hold down L together with C-Up and C-Right. Indiania will replace Beverly Hills.

Win the "Cruise The USA" mode with the difficulty set to 1, 3 or 5. Now the car used to
win the race will be selectable in a new color. The alternate cars are faster then the
original version. To select the alternate colors, press C-Up. Note: This also
works with the three hidden vehicles.

To get this cheat you will have to hold these three buttons at the same time.  Up C, Down
C,and Left C. You will do this cheat when you are about to select a car.  You will get a
police car, Jeep, and a school bus.

Use the Bus or Police Car to get a new Hot Time. Then, enter your initials and remain at
the "Hot Times" screen. Now scroll to the bottom of the display and hold Analog-Left for
thirty seconds. A head will appear on the rolling conveyor belt and say "I love this
job". Press Start and begin a new race and press Brake, Brake, Brake, Gas, Brake, Gas
after each checkpoint. Although your vehicle will not exceed its top speed, it will
accelerate faster. Note: This code is only enabled after you Cruise the USA three
times to get your vehicle to the fourth level.

Use the Bus or Police Car to get a new Hot Time. Then, enter your initials and remain at
the "Hot Times" screen. Now scroll to the bottom of the display and hold Analog-Left for
thirty seconds. A head will appear on the rolling conveyor belt and say "I love this
job". Press Start and begin a new race with the Bus or Police Car. Press Brake twice,
then hold Gas to flash the lights of the Bus or turn on the Police Car's siren. The
lights and siren will be active as long as Gas is held.

Hold down L together with C-Right and C-Down. San Fransisco will replace Grand Canyon.

To get the police car, school bus, or jeep, hold C-right+ C-up+ C-down on the car select
screen(Note:this will not work on the car furthest to the right)

In Beverly Hills you can drive against the palmtrees. Coconuts will drop down.

To race the secret courses you will have to press the following buttons and then press
Start.

If you are driving in Iowa or Indiana and are playing in the first person mode, bugs will
splatter on your windshielf. If birds fly overhead, you will get droppings as well.

At the track selection screen, hold L + C-Left + C-Down. Now the U.S. 101 track will
become Golden Gate Park.

Normally in two player mode, only one of the players can get an upgrade for their car.
To upgrade both players, race to the Washington D.C., quit, and save the game. Then reset
the Nintendo 64 ,and have player one beat the Washington D.C. course. Reset the Nintendo
64 again, and have player two beat the same course. Now both players will now have their
cars upgraded.

Note 1: With this code, you have to finish a race for it to be saved. Also, you
will have to start a game and complete the first race. Then, the level you choose will be
the next track.

Note 2: Press the GS Button once you start a game, then the time will resets to
zero. Now the race will end and the next race will start with the car you chose.

This code works just like the Flashing Lights Trick code. Be sure your name will be on the
'Hot lists'. Scroll to the end of the list and hold L for 40 seconds. A head appears in
the screen. In each race, with each car you can obtain a nitro boost by pressing Brake,
Brake, Brake, Gas, Brake and Gas.

At the track selection screen, hold L + C-Right + C-Down. Now the Grand Canyon track will
become San Francisco.

At the track selection screen, hold L + C-Right + C-Up. Now the Beverly Hills track will
become Indiana.

Hold down L together with C-Left and C-Down. Golden Gate Park will replace US 101.

At the car selection screen, hold C-Up + C-Left + C-Down. Now the Muscle Car will become
an All Terrain Vehicle, the La Bomba will become a School Bus, and the Devastator will
become a Police Car.
