Scientists With Grenades (updated) 
You already know that GoldenEye's scientists aren't
too friendly when you shoot them (they pull a
gun). But if you wait a bit and dodge their
shots, you will eventually see them pull out a
grenade and throw it at you. This doesn't work in
Agent mode. 
Pick any mode and
go to the “facility” level. On any mode
except agent, get to that bit after you enter the
laboratory area and you get to those three
different rooms with lots of scientists in them.
There is always one scientist in one of the rooms
who will throw grenades at you if you shoot him
once with a DD44. Make sure you shoot him while
outside the room, i.e. through the glass. 
Scroll Through
Weapons Backwards 
Did you know that
you can scroll through your weapons backwards?
Simply press and hold A, then tap Z (or press
them both at the same time), and voila! 
Floating Mines
Everywhere (Bunker) 
This code allows
you to float mines anywhere! First go to the
bunker in battle mode, make sure you have remote
mines as your weapon. Plant eight mines on the
TVs that hang from the ceiling. After every TV
has a mine on it go to the detonator and blow
them all up. Now refill on mines and toss one.
Nothing happens, but if you back up you will see
a mine floating! You can plant mines anywhere in
the Bunker after the code has been done. 
Magic Box
(Caverns) 
In the caverns
there is a way to get two assault rifles. Find
the radio room. There are many boxes scattered
about, but only one of them is a "magic
box." Shoot it and smaller boxes and
computer monitors will keep flying out. Now shoot
the monitors. You should now be able to get a
second Assault Rifle. 
Slap Jaws toDeath 
Having trouble
with Jaws in the Aztec level? Rather than sniping
Jaws with a rifle, take the pugilistic pathway.
After taking out the three guards close to Jaws,
attack him armed only with your fists. It takes
juevos to lay kung fu on the big guy, but since
007 is close in, Jaws will be unable to get any
shots off. 
InvisibleMines 
Try this wicket
trick on your unsuspecting buddies. On any
multiplayer level, stick a remote or proximity
mine on a box of ammo or a weapon, then pick it
up. Even the mine seems to have disappeared, it's
still there. Remember, you can either trigger it
by bringing up the watch or simply press A &
B at the same time to detonate it. 
InvisibleMines, Part II 
Kill another
player. Now place a mine on a weapon that the
defeated player lost, then pick it up. The mines
will be invisible forever. Since no power-up will
reappear in that spot, it will look like there is
nothing there. Use this trick for a nice
proximity mine surprise. 
Mixed Weapons
This trick allows
you to pair up more weapons (not only the ones
you can pick up twice). First of all, you must
have two sets of paired weapons that appear next
to each other in your weapon list as well as
ammo. One example of this is the Military
Archives, where you can have two Dostoveis and
two Klobbs. Now cycle through your weapons
backwards (press and hold A, then tap the Z
button) until you have two of the second set of
weapons ready. 
1. Press and hold A 
2. Press Z twice before cycling forward 
3. Release A
4. Press A once.
5. Press Z to
fire two or three times to fire while the weapons
are changing . 
If you did it
right, firing the weapon will result in a glitch
that leaves a second weapon up as well. If you
have the All Weapons Cheat enabled, you can
virtually do any combination. 
Blow up Remote
Mines without Watch 
You can actually
blow up remote mines without using the detonator.
First, toss the mine as usual but instead of
going to the detonator watch, press A and B at
the same time. The mine automatically blows up
and you still stay on the mine weapons screen.

More Floating Mines 
Wanna see a
floating mine? First plant a mine on a glass
panel (found e.g. in the bunker on battle mode)
than blow up the glass that the mine is sitting
on. Instead of falling to the ground the mine
floats in mid-air and you can still blow it up!

There is more:
Blow up a mainframe computer (it works with other
objects too), then throw a mine at about half the
height of what you blew up. For some reasons, the
mine will turn black and just float there.

Play same
character for 3 players 
The following
trick allows players to use the same character
for upto three players in a four player
deathmatch: 
1. In 4-player
multiplayer mode, goto character selection screen
and set the character who is to be multiplied as
'Player 4'. 
2. Choose
characters for players 1, 2, and 3. 
3. Back in the
multiplayer mode screen, change number of players
from 4 to 3. Now, go to the character select
screen and set Player 4's character as Player 3.
Pick any character for players 1 and 2. 
4. Back in
multiplayer mode screen, change number of players
from 3 to 2. Now, go to the character selection
screen and set Player 3's character as Player 2.
Pick any character for Player 1. 
5. Now, simply
change the number of Players back to 4 and start
the game. Players 2, 3 and 4 will be the same
character. 
Two Alecs in
Multiplayer 
Not only can you
have 2 Zenias, like the code you have states, but
you can also have 2 Alecs as well. If you select
two players at the multi-player menu, have player
two select Alec, then change the number of
players to three and click start. Works well for
2-on-1 games. 
How to Get the
Golden Gun in Level 20 
This is possibly
the hardest task in Goldeneye 007. And it's a
spolier, so if you don't want to read on and find
out for yourself, then stop here! 
Go straight to
the tomb in which the Golden Gun is hidden. Open
the door. Step in onto the first square and step
two squares to the left (or all the way to the
left). Go two squares up, then go three right.
Then go two squares up, one left, one up, one
left, then go two up and one right. You should be
in front of the gun, and, believe it or not,
uninjured. 
By walking those
steps in that order, you will dismantle the
indestructible auto-machine guns. The sliding
glass will move down, and you're now in business.
YES! 
Circle around to
get the gun and the ammo, and then exit out of
the side door. 
Scientists
with Guns 
How to piss off
scientists: 
On any level in
secret agent mode that has a scientist, I prefer
the Facility or Silo, use your PP7 and shoot them
once in the arm and once in the leg. If they
don't die, they will pull out a DD44 Dostovei and
start shooting at you. They have pretty nice
shots for scientists.

Multi-Player Stages 
Beat the second
Severnaya bunker, water cavern and military
archive stages in agent mode and they will then
be accessable for multiplayer play. Note: Only
two to three people can play them, though.

In multi-player
mode set on three players go to the character
selection screen and choose Xenia as player
three. Exit, change the number of players to four
and then start the game. Player three and four
will both be Xenia. 
007 Mode

After beating
every single level in the game on the "00
Agent" difficulty setting, including bonus
levels 19 and 20, a special "007 mode"
opens up. This is a level editor level. 
Players can
configure options such as reaction time,
accuracy, enemy health, and more cool stuff.

Level Weapons

There are four
difficulty levels in Goldeneye 007 (Agent, Secret
Agent, 00 Agent, and 007 Mode). By defeating each
difficulty level's final mission (with the
exception of 007 mode), a new weapon becomes
usable. 
On Agent, beat
the Antenna Cradle and get the Cougar Magnum.

On Secret Agent,
beat the Aztec Complex and get the Moonraker
Laser.

Enter the train level. (Agent) Clear the first
car (the one you start in) of guards. When you
get to the door to the next car, don't open it
but turn to your left. There will be two crates
stacked on top of each other. Destroy the bottom
crate (will also automatically destroy the top
crate) and out pops an RCP90! When you play
secret agent, a DD44 Dostovei comes out. 

Fling Books 

message: you will need the golden gun for this
glich.Go to the Surface 1 and get the big key
from the guy.Go to the room with the safe and in
the left coner there is a box.blow the box outwith the golden gun and books will fly
out.

Shoot Tank Shells From Your Forehead

Switch on infinte ammo.  First go to
runway.  Then go to the tank and get in
it.  Instead of just pressing B to get out
of the tank, then you get out your weapon just
before the tank shells and then press A and B
right after one another.

Get back into vents on Facility.

To get back into the vent in the Facility, stand
on the toilet that is under the vent. Then hold
Left C until your player ducks, then press and
hold R, and left on the control stick. When your
player returns to the vent, release C and R and
press foward on the control stick.


Fight with 006 on Facility!!

GO to the Facility!! TO fight 006 when you enter
the Lab go to the chemical canisters. He should
be dressed in black.  Find him and shoot him
with the K47 Soviet in the foot. he should say
"so the golden boy is a traitor". he
will then start shooting at you. if you are still
alive he should say "Why dont you be a good
boy and die?" shoot at him with yopu pp7 in
the head. he should say "WHy James?
WHy?" then he will fall dead. if he doesnt e
mail me and i will help you.


Trevylen Easy kill

message: If you are having problems on the Cradle
getting the Gold pp7 cheat. Try this.

Chase Trevylen down to the shack but dont go in,
instead go to the opposite side, turn with you
back to the wall to where your facing the steps
you just came down. Wait about 20 seconds and
Trevylen will start throwing grenades BUT THEY
WILL KILL HIM!!! Now just go in and blow up the
computer and go to the end.


Blow up Natalya

You will need: All guns cheat, (bond invisable
would help).

Go to bunker Two. When you're in the jail get the
key off the wall with the watch and get out and
kill the guy, free Natalya, and get out of the
room. If you have bond invisable then you can
take your time but if noy then, RUN LIKE HELL!
get to the sliding glass door then walk up the
stairs. Now whip a PROXCIMITY MINE outside on the
helicopter landing spot. go outside and Bond will
run ahead well Natalya has a terrible, terrible
death. 

At the cheat menu, press L + Down, L + C-Down, L + R + Up, R + C-Down, Left, R + Down, L +
C-Down, Up, R + Down, L + Right. If you entered the code correctly, you will hear a sound.
Exit, then return to the cheat menu to access the unlocked option.

At the mission selection screen, press L + C-Down, R + Down, L + Right, R + C-Right, R +
C-Down, R + Left, R + Left, R + C-Up, R + Left, L + R + C-Up.

Floating weapons

Locate the control room in the Bunker 2 level with the big screen. Place a remote mine
on each of the eight televisions that are attached to the ceiling and destroy them. Throw
mines, grenades, knives or fire the rocket launcher in the room and the weapons will
float. If this trick is done during a single player game, the enemies will die with their
weapons in their hands.

Invisible mines

Begin game play in multi-player mode. Place a mine on ammunition, then take the
ammunition. Although the mine will still be at that location, it will not appear on your
opponent's screen.
 

Falling mines

Complete all the objectives on the Runway level except "Escape in plane". Place a few
timed mines on your plane, then enter and take off. You will see the mines fall out and
explode when you are in the air.
 

Protecting Natalya

The easiest way to protect Natalya in the control room is to take out all the tables,
except the one that she needs. This will give you a clean line of fire on the guards.

Kill Xenia easily

Continuously fire the AR33 armed with a full magazine as she runs towards you.
Alternatively, position Bond adjacent to the bridge and shoot her. She can not hit Bond at
this location.
 

In the Jungle level on the two harder difficulty settings, the best and fastest way to
kill Xenia is to set three remote mines on the front of the bridge. (The front being the
closest part of the bridge as you come upon it.) Run about half way across the bridge,
until you hear the music. Then turn around and run off the bridge and to the right. When
you are far enough away from the mines, turn around the face the bridge. (You should
facing the bridge at a 90 degree angle). Natalya will run across the bridge. Xenia will
cross paths with her on the bridge. When Xenia gets to the end of the bridge she will stop
and look around. This is when the mines should be detonated. Since the explosion will not
kill her, scroll back to the AR33 and hit her will approximately ten shots to finish her.
If done correctly, she will not have a chance to fire back.
 

Kill Trevelyan easily

The best way to kill Trevelyan on the Cradle level is to blow him up. Get the armor,
then run up the ramp. Kill the first onslaught of men (the 3 or 4 on the top of the ramp).
One of them should have a grenade; if this does not occur, start again. After taking the
grenade, run down and power down the dish as usual. Exit through the back door and
Trevelyan should be down the ramp. Instead of shooting him, switch to the grenade and aim
it straight down so that it bounces down the ramp. When the grenade hits the bottom it
will explode and kill Trevelyan completely, with no lines, chasing, or other nonsense.
Just run to the helicopter to be picked up to complete the mission.

This following trick works under any difficulty setting. In the Cradle, go to the
bunker with the computer terminal. Go all of the way to the left of the door and turn
around. You should now have your back to the wall, with the staircase directly in front of
you and the door directly to your left. Shoot all of the men that walk down the stairs and
out of the door. After about ten seconds you will hear an explosion, Trevelyan will start
his "For England..." speech, and objective two will be complete. What happened was
Trevelyan had dropped the grenade and forgot to run, thus killing himself. Now go in,
destroy the terminal and leave.

Use two different guns simutaneously

Obtain any paired set of guns. Then, hold A and press Z(2). Release A, then press A
again. Press Z two or three times to fire while changing weapons. If timed correctly, the
weapon being fired will be paired with another weapon creating a mixed set.

Hidden guns

Locate the two boxes stacked on top of each other immediately before the first door on
the left in the train level. Destroy them to collect a RC-P90 when playing under the Agent
difficulty level. A DD44 will appear if playing under the Secret Agent difficulty
level.

There are crates located near the "bunker" on the Dam level that also contain guns. Go
to the switch, turn around, and shoot at the boxes directly in front of Bond.

Locate the control room with the master console in the Caverns level. Defeat all the
enemies, then go all the way to the right to find two boxes. Shoot the box on the right,
and another box will fall out. Keep destroying the boxes until two computers fall out.
Each contains an AR30.

Silenced PP7s

There is a set of two silenced PP7s on the second bunker level. There is a guard with
a safe key in the room with the two double doors. Go to the room with the safe to find the
two guns and a GoldenEye operating manual.

Return into the vents

Begin game play in the Facility level in multi-player mode. Enable turbo mode and face
the door. Press C-Left immediately after jumping on the toilet to pop back up into the
vents. Note: Another way to accomplish this without turbo mode is to hold L +
C-Right + Analog-stick Left + Z.

Bottomless pit

First, earn the Bunker level for multi-player mode. Start a multi-player game at the
bunker with grenade launchers, mines (any type), or any other type of explosive weapon.
Take the explosive weapon outside the bunker. Move in the opposite direction from the
bunker's entrance. You should come to an invisible black wall. Look down and toss any type
of explosive. The explosive never hit bottom.

Extra time on Train level

An additional twenty seconds can be added to your time on this level under the 00
Agent difficulty setting by killing Xenia. Run in the room and position yourself in a
diagonal line with General Ourimorv and Xenia. Shoot Ourimorv and keep firing as he dies
to quickly kill Xenia.

Destroy the Egyptian level trap guns

The automatic trap guns on the Egyptian level are not indestructible; they can be
blown up with explosive weapons.

Kill Baron Samedi permanently

Kill Baron Samedi two times with the golden gun, then find him a third time. Shoot him
and change the controller type to "Domino". As the game is ending, continuously press the
Z on controller two very quickly. Keep hitting the button during the ending sequence and
you will be able to shoot Baron Samedi in the head with the golden gun. Note: This trick
works better when a turbo controller is plugged into port two.
 

Find the tank

Begin a game on the Runway level (Level 3). Go outside, then move all the way to the
right. The tank is located around that corner.

Ride the tank

Bond can drive the T-54 tank by climbing aboard and pressing B on the tower. Use the
Analog-stick to steer, and switch to tank rounds to shoot targets.

Tank cruise control

Get into a tank and start driving. While driving, switch to the tank cannon. Reach the
desired speed, then hold down the aim button (R by default), and release the Analog-stick.
The tank will now drive in a straight line by itself.

Another guard tower

Begin a game on the Dam level (Level 1). Go to the middle (second) tower on the dam.
Use your sniper rifle at maximum magnification to look the opposite way that you will
bungee jump to find another tower across the water. This tower was going to be used in the
game but was only left in for viewing.

Dancing characters

Begin a multiplayer match. Have both players face each other within sight. Have one
player stare at the other player while the other player looks straight at the ground. (It
will appear as if the other player is staring at his or her toes.) Then, have the
character that is staring at the ground rapidly tap the "strafe left" and "strafe right"
buttons. That character's arm will start to swing up and down as if he or she is dancing
the Hustle. Have Jaws do this for a particularly funny effect.

Temporarily disable opponent's auto-aim

Disarm yourself during a multi-player game by selecting Down until no weapons are
held. Your opponent's auto-aim will not function, making it very difficult for your
character to be shot. This trick is especially useful when you want to make a quick
getaway to grab more power-ups and don't want to face a better-equipped player.

Invisible flag

Begin a game of "Flag Tag" in multi-player mode. Find the flag, but do not pick it up.
Instead, scroll through your weapons until your characcter is unarmed. Hold Fire and pick
up the flag. The flag will now be invisible, and your character can kill the other players
in the game. Note: Releasing Fire or scrolling the weapons will end this trick.

Destroying cameras easily

Cameras can be destroyed with a single shot from any gun if they are hit directly in
the lens.

Shoot during ending sequence

Set the game controls to "Domino" and complete a level. Then, press Z on controller
two to fire whatever Bond is holding during the current scene. Natalya may also be shot at
the end of some levels.

Highlight a cheat from a folder, then hold A and keep that button pressed until instructed
otherwise. Then, press B(2) to return to the folder selection screen, and press Z to
select another folder. Now enter the cheat menu, highlight any code, and press Z. Then,
press B and release A. Now select any level to begin the game with the cheat from the
first folder.

While playing a game, press L + R + Down, L + C-Left, L + C-Right, L + R + C-Left, L +
Down, L + C-Down, R + C-Left, L + R + C-Right, R + Up, L + C-Left.

At the cheat menu, press L + Up, C-Up, R + Right, L + R + C-Left, L + Up, R + C-Down, L +
