When you are hanging on the edge, if you want to jump (like in melee) you just pull down
and almost instantly after you pull down you jump. It works like a charm I do it all the
time!!!!

dude you can only unluck ness,jigglypuff,c.falcon and luigi!trust me,
the only way to play as master hand,polygon team,giant dk and metal mario is with the
nintendo 64 emulater project 64....If you do happen
to have project 64 and want to be all those characters go to system while playng SSB and
go cheats....character modifier should come up.click on that and choose any characer from
the list.now go OK and tick character modifier and choose any character even the starter
ones
and when you play you should be the character you chose even though 
you chose someone else.

To unlock Bulbasaur, beat the game with Squirtle.
