On the screen where you choose how many players you want press:
up,up,down,down,left,right, left,right,b,a,b,a,start. That should give you 30 lives
instead of three!

In order to recieve the thirty lives, you need only do up up, down down, left right, left
right, b a. You do not have to do the b a twice, which will save a bit of time. You
still must do this in the title screen. Cheers!
At the title screen, quickly press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, B,
A. You will then start with 30 lives. The really cool part is that after a continue, these
lives come back again!

At the main menu press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start, Start.
If you did it correctly you should see a Level Select screen on the bottom of the screen.
