Daggerfall Cheats (PC)

Press [F5] to display the stats screen. Click on a stat and position the mouse where the
bonus point icon usually appears. Click where the up arrow usually appears to add up to
six points to the selected stat. Exit the screen and repeat this procedure to add more
points. Note: This code may only be enabled on the original version of the game. 

  Type $ as the first character of a spell name to only expend 25% of normal when
casting. Type ! as the first character of a spell name to expend 0% of normal, but with a
limit of casting the spell only once a day.

  Create a directory named PICS in the DAGGER directory. Press  to save up to ten
screenshots.

The key to making it big in Daggerfall is money. I find the best way to make easy money is
to go to a shop (general stores work best), and loiter there until after the time when the
store closes. If you've done it right, when you click on a shelf, everything is free! From
experience, I find that only taking the books is the best way to make cash fast. When you
have all the books from every shelf in the store, simply go to the shop owner and sell all
the books back to him! You'll be rich before you know it.

Edit the z.cfg file in your DAGGER directory and add the line "cheatmode 1". Then, in the
game, press:

  ctrl+F4 - God mode
  ctrl+F1 - All locations on fast travel map shown
  ctrl+F9 - +5000 gold pieces
  1 - You move 6x faster than normal
  = - Raises all skills 1%
  - - Raises reputation with all factions by 5
