Darkstone Cheats (PC)

Are you tired of getting killed over and over by spike traps and mines while you're trying
to get to the treasure? Using scrolls of Telekinesis and Teleport offer alternative routes
to getting the treasure. They may cost a few gold pieces, but can save you a lot of time.

In order to make gold you will need 20,000 gold pieces, a full inventory, and one extra
potion or item that takes up one inventory spot.  Once you have this all you need to do is
go to a remote space in town.  Throw 10,000 gold pieces on the ground and fill that empty
space with a potion or some other item.  Stand next to the pile of gold on the ground. 
Open your inventory and right click on the pile of gold in your inventory.  Type 9999 and
hit Enter.  Now throw the pile of 9,999 gold pieces on the ground or, if you're playing
with two characters, give it to he/she.  Close your inventory and pick up the pile of
10,000 gold on the ground.  The computer won't let you because your inventory is full. 
But, when you open up your invevtory the 1 gold piece has turned into 10,000 gold pieces.
Repeat the process to become richer!

The spell of choice for magic users, especially between levels 1 and 20, is the Magic
Bomb. This is a magical contact grenade that you can drop directly onto your enemy's head,
even from around a corner or through a wall. I never saw a monster resist it, and it does
around 30 to 70 points of damage per hit.

Go to the directory where darkstone is installed, go to the save/character

directory. Copy the character.lpl file to a different directory. Start a

multiplayer game and come in with your character with your most valuable

items. Sell them all and lay the cash on the ground. Exit the game to the

title screen and alt+ tab to the desktop. Go to the directory where you

saved the character.lpl file- copy and paste it over your current .lpl file

in the save/character directory. Load the multiplayer game, repeat. Make sure to leave the
money on the ground until you're done

duping. With a lvl 34 character's items I was making 250K a run.

Because the music in DarkStone is stored in MP3 format, rename the file (giving it an
"mp3" extension) to hear it in your MP3 player!

When playing as the thief, you can steal from the chickens in town. Your reward is
entirely appropriate. :-)

 Start a new game and transfer all the money from one character to the other
character.

 Start a new game again and use the character that you gave all the gold to and put in
a whole new character.

 Take the 1500 gold from the new character and give it to the character with all the
gold from last time.

 Repeat as desired.

For a lovely bonus in the single-player game, toss some coins in the bard's tray (in the
center of town.)
