Outcast Cheats (PC)

Fire up Notepad, Wordpad or some other text editing program and open up the outcast.ini
file from the /oc directory beneath the main Outcast directory and change the following.
Please Note: Always make a backup of the file before editing (something like outcast.bak).


  For increased health and dosh, change these parameters: 

  [Bonuses] -> [Bonuses] 

  MoneyChest=5.0000000 -> MoneyChest=5000000.0 

  Money=1.0000000 -> Money=1000000.0 

  Life=5.0000000 -> Life=5000000.0 

  You can also change the following parameters: 

  [SimpleGun] <- the base gun you start with. 

  Weight_of_bullet=0.010000 

  Speed_of_bullet_min=90.000000 

  Speed_of_bullet_max=110.000000 

  Reloadtime_of_bullet=20000 

  RecoilElasticity=4.000000 

  Recoil=15.000000 

  MaximumRecoil=15.000000 

  Load_critical_level=3 

  Lifetime_of_bullet=20000 

  Friction_of_bullet=0.000000 

  Damage=310.000000 

  Burst_Size_Level_3=24 

  Burst_Size_Level_2=22

  In addition, edit outcast.ini in the lower sections so that you can purchase most items
very cheap:

  Below that, you can edit the amount of resources you need to create ammo: 

  [Recreators]

  To enable God Mode, find the entry "herodamage" and give it the value of 0 (default is
1). 

  Wanna get though locked doors and you have no key? Simply stand as close to the door as
you can and drop an F-LINK (that's the teleporter device) and then teleport, because of a
bug you will be on the other side!

If you don't have a key but you do have a locator try this. Place a locator right next to
the door and when you reappear you should be on the other side.

Go to Talanzaar and go to the far South of the city near the well.  Walk

around and listen for Talans playing flutes.  As soon as you hear one walk

in that direction and listen to what he is playing.  It is the theme song

to the new Star Wars in off key notes but it is still recognizable.

Whilst in the region of Okasankar you will be asked to catch a theif. When

you see him steal the money, talk to him and say "i saw you". When he asks

if you will turn him in reply NO, When he asks if you can pay the money

reply NO. Give the 100 Zorkins back to Zafar and take the Booyat that he

offers.

You will now be able to go back to where you saw the theif, and catch him

again Reply NO to both questions and take the 100 Zorkins for yourself, you

can repeat this process as many times as you wish.

NOTE: This cheat code requires you to screw around with some sensitive stuff. Don't mess
with anything other than what the it says to. You can mess up your game if you do.

These cheat codes will allow you to change the speed of your guns' bullets, damage, and
the ammount of bullets in each box of ammo. You can also make Cutter invincable, allow him
to have a bazillion Zorkins, and make it so that the money chests have a heck of a lot
more

money in them.

STEPS: 

1) go to "My Computer"

2) select "C Drive"

3) select "Program files"

4) select "Infogrames"

5) select "Data"

6) Now, here's the tricky part: there should be a bunch of .ini files, look

for one that says "OUTCAST"

7) Scroll down untill you see a section of writing in that notepad called

Simplegun.


CHANGE:                TO:

"damage= 5"            "damage= 90000"

"bullet speed= 20"     "bullet speed= 5000"

"ammo (per) box= 5"    "ammo box= 500"



NOTE: there are other things on there too, DO NOT CHANGE THEM!! You can do this to the
other guns too, just look for the similar spelling

in the gun info.

You may run out of memory for that file, so don't put too many zeroes.

To make Cutter invincible, and have a lot of money;
