As soon as the Jaleco screen comes up press B, A, X, Y, very quickly.
  You will hear a slashing sound, along with a small flash on the screen.
  Press START and a similar screen to the last will appear.
  Now press DOWN three times and press START again.
  Set your options and exit, you will find new options.
