Scrap Metal Glitch **INFINITE XP AND CAPS**

1. With an even # of Scrap Metal, give them to Casdin at Fort Independence.
2. Save and pickpocket them back. Reload save if you failed.
3. Repeat step 1, BUT KEEP 2 SCRAP METAL!
4. Save and pickpocket them back. Reload save if you failed.
5. Save and pickpocket something else off of him. Reload IF YOU DIDN'T FAIL.
6. You should see a message saying he took the first batch you gave him and the second.
This will glitch the amount you have and give you a negative amount (AKA infinite).
7. Now you can trade it in to Casdin, Winthrop, or Walter for infinite stuff. Walter is
best as he gives caps and XP.

NOTES:
1. DO NOT, AND I REPEAT DO NOT PICK UP ANY SCRAP METAL AFTER THIS! IT WILL RESET THE
AMOUNT TO 0.
2. You can get 20-30 Scrap Metal from Karl, the merchant in the Family's hideout. Tinker
Joe also sells 6-20. Any other merchant that sells random stuff/junk is good, too (some
examples are Moira Brown, Seagrave Holmes, and Crazy Wolfgang).
